CHANGE OF OWNERSHIP :
After many years of running Peregrine for the previous owners, Roger McCourtney has now taken over the company. Roger is hopeful that his many customers will continue to support Peregrine and enjoy his products for many years to come.
Lost PEREGRINE Rod finds its way home :
Last summer very good customer and friend Stan Elston from Lymm managed to lose his much loved Peregrine fly rod and reel overboard in the great watery expanses of Loch Carron in Scotland. Fortunately a fishing policeman actually hooked said rod and handed it in to fishery owner who then called me. Because Stan had me write his name on the rod it was simple for me to get the rod back to Stan which despite many weeks being submerged, was none the worse for its “swim” in the loch. Testament to the build quality and the honesty of the policeman who found it.

Barbel / River rods :
12’ 2.1/2 lb “Big Water Rod” Built on the Harrison Torrix blank. This rod is being used very successfully on waters like the Tidal Trent, Wye, Severn and other water that have Big Flow. 12’ 1lb 4oz “Light River Rod” Virtually the opposite of the above rod! Can be looked upon as a 12’ Avon really. Great for trundling meat or float fishing for Tench etc. Very versatile. Price £199 standard Peregrine build and specification.
Carp rods :
We make a large range of carp rods, to many to list individually. What with so many different handle, ring and blank choices, far better to call us for a quote. As an example though my own personal favourite Carp Rods are built on Harrison 12’ Baby Ballista blanks 2.5lb tc. I have caught hundreds of carp from many different waters at all ranges and never found these rods wanting in any department. Example price £190
